Betzy has lived next door to Sage Mountain for over 20 years, spending happy hours in its forests and developing a deep understanding of its plant community. A clinical herbalist and teacher at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism, she has taught herbal medicine, wild edibles, and botanical medicine throughout the Northeast for over three decades. She is author of Herbal Pharmacy (Chelsea Green Publishing).

Emily is a community herbalist, death doula, and the founder of the Florida School of Holistic Living and Florida Herbal Conference. She has practiced plant healing for over 25 years, integrating herbs into hospice settings for more than a decade, and has studied under healers across three continents, including an apprenticeship with Rosemary Gladstar. She serves as Executive Director of Sage Mountain Botanical Sanctuary.
