Healing with
the Elements

Weekend Retreats with Betzy Bancroft & Emily Ruff

A soulful, sensory journey through the four elements — air, fire, earth, & water — woven into four immersive weekend retreats

An immersion in the healing forces of the natural world

Nestled within the embrace of the Sage Mountain forest, each weekend retreat offers a sacred space to deepen your relationship with one of the four elements and with yourself. Through guided plant walks, seasonally inspired medicine making, nourishing communal meals, and time on the land, each retreat awakens your senses to the healing forces all around us.

This is not a lecture series. It is an embodied experience - a chance to slow down, pay attention, and reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world through the wisdom of two deeply experienced herbalists.

Each weekend, a world unto itself

Air - Awakening & Rejuvenation

June 26–28
Themes of spring, breath, and new beginnings

Open to the lightness and expansiveness of air — the element of breath, clarity, and new beginnings. As summer opens before us, we explore the plant allies that move, disperse, and lift us into possibility.

Fire - Vitality & Balance

July 24-26
Themes of summer, transformation, and energy

Gather at the height of summer to explore fire — the element of transformation, digestion, and vital energy. Learn the plants that kindle our inner flame and help us find balance in the heat of fullness.

Earth - Nourishment & Grounding

August 21-23
Themes of harvest, stability, and abundance

Root into the element of earth — stability, nourishment, and the deep wisdom of roots and soil. Entering harvest season, we turn to the plants that ground, sustain, and return us to ourselves.

Water - Flow & Restoration

September 25-27
Themes of refection and deep wellness

Close the series by surrendering to the flow of water - the element of emotion, intuition and restoration. As the year begins its inward turn, we explore the plants that cleanse, renew, and release.
