Join us with Forest Bathing guide and ecological artist Todd Lynch for a weekend of rediscovery, awakening and art making. Forest and Nature Therapy offers us the opportunity to slow down. It re-aligns our rhythms with the landscape, allowing our senses a respite from everyday demands and uncertainties. It’s a chance to remember ourselves and the joyful relationships that await us outside. A guided Forest and Nature Therapy walk is not a hike or naturalist adventure, but an opportunity to slow down and allow our bodies to engage all of our senses.

Forest Bathing combined with ecological art making can offer us ways to explore our relationships across many levels– self, intimate family and friends, our broader human community, and ecological communities. Both are ways to slow down, to witness and be in place with no agenda. These practices root us in the sensuality of what is real, contextual, and present at that moment. Within both practices, there are no prescribed outcomes, only experiences. Forest Bathing and art practiced together create a multi-dimensional threshold to offer participants a chance to deepen their connection to “Nature” – which can be healing and restorative to both them and their communities. Slowing down, listening, observing and witnessing intentional relationships are critical parts of both forest bathing and art making.

In your time together, Todd will share his artwork and the work of other inspirational ecological artists and provide a methodology for creating and siting ecological art work. Two Forest Bathing sessions, one each morning, will help to provide the framework for you to explore ways to apply this methodology to your own process. After lunch Saturday and for a short time on Sunday, you will have time to work on your own ecological art pieces, with guidance from Todd. Come experience this unique offering that will engage your senses and the magic of place.
