Sage Mountain Botanical Sanctuary in Orange, Vermont, provides a dynamic landscape and transformative experience centered on earth learning. Built upon a rich history of conservation, herbalism, and activism, Sage Mountain welcomes people from all levels of experience and walks of life to learn how to be better stewards to the earth that supports us.
We provide numerous ways to learn from online classes to onsite workshops, hikes, and retreats. The skills and knowledge we share provide a new lens for connecting more deeply as a steward of the earth and caring more deeply for our self and our community as a reflection of the environment.

As a result of Covid-19 our on-site group programs for 2021 have been postponed to later dates. In the meantime, Sage Mountain offers an array of activities for individuals, small groups, and families, from field trips to personalized residencies, that provide interactive experiences with nature to foster learning and healing, on personal and planetary levels.
Donations to Sage Mountain Botanical Sanctuary fund conservation activities for land, wetlands, wildlife; provide scholarships and sponsor residencies; support the work of biologists and botanists to continue our research efforts; and sponsor outreach programs like Grief Care project to extend healing beyond the boundaries of our land. Your contribution is tax-deductible.
